I’m so disgusted at what is happening in North of Iraq Occupied Assyria! One by one the mayors of areas where there are Assyrians inhabitants are being forcefully substituted by individuals who are members of the KRG. With the support of the USA and most of the West the Kurds are taking over Assyrian soil because they want to build their homeland not in Mahabad Iran where they actually from, but rather in Assyria the land of the people they murdered, raped, and crucified.
I suggest to the Assyrians in diaspora to raise our voice and let the world know that what is happening is wrong and a crime against humanity. Most people do not know who the Assyrians are and that we are fighting so that Assyria will become visible in the world again. Start making YouTube videos about what is happening if you can. Raise your voice. Write articles and share with your friends on social media and also in real life. Talk about the strife that the Assyrians are facing.
We are not a homeless people, but we are being taken advantage of by nations who only see Iraq as a country with a vast amount of natural resources, which they cannot keep their hands off of. Like people always said in demonstrations around the world, “Oil for blood.” They do not know the history of the North of Iraq most of the time, and when they do know the history they have the attitude that our Assyrian people do not deserve their rights. They may not say this out right but the way they behave shows us that this is what is in their mind in regards to the Assyrians.
Two in three Assyrians died in the Assyrian Genocide of 1915. Had we been given a chance to live as a nation at that time we would be over twenty million strong right now in the year 2017. The problem is the people who were killing us in 1915 are still killing and abusing us today. There is an olden scheme to annihilate the Assyrians and their children….
We need to wake up as a nation. We need to rise up and band together. The best way to expose people is to make them look bad on a global level. Spread the word about what is going in Occupied Assyria. We are a nation and we are not a minority by accident. They made us a “minority”, and by now slowly but surely taking over our land they are sending the message that they want to annihilate us.
I hope God, destiny, and fate will be on the side of the Assyrians in the next days, months, and years. We need the help of the universe, but also we need to do something and we need to support Assyrian leaders who are not betraying our nation.
Look at this elderly Assyrian man in the picture above. He knows what has happened to his Assyrian nation. He feels and is emotional about what might happen in the future. Remember his face and his plea to you to help his Assyrian nation. If you are not part of the solution for the Assyrians you are part of the problem. We need to be responsible human beings. Educate yourselves about the peoples of the world including the Assyrians. You and the leaders of your countries cant force us to leave our homeland, our towns and villages, which we have lived in for thousands of years.
Remember the face of this Assyrian man...
You are all also responsible for what happens in our world. Stealing Assyrian lands is not manly. The Kurds are not courageous in the actions they are taking. They are just a band of murderous thieves. They killed the Assyrians in 1915 and now they are mocking us while trying to push us around with their large population and weapons provided to them by all the murderers in the world...
